I met Joan on several occasions through a friend. Joan was always very gracious to me and delightful to be with. Her nursing career offered care and comfort to many.

I met Joan when we were both nursing students at Misericordia School of Nursing in the 1940s. She was an excellent nurse and a good friend. We stayed in touch and had fun at our Nurses' Luncheons over the years. My condolences to her family.
