Condolences for Elisabeth R. Burnett Martin

Caroline SweitzerFriday, May 5th

This is the most beautiful tribute for a one-of-a-kind person. What a perfect soul who is missed beyond words for all who were blessed to know her.

Dear Elisabeth, Although we never met, reading your obituary leaves me with no doubt that you and I would have been kindred spirits. A life lost way too soon. My heartfelt condolences go out to your friends, family, and loved ones. Wishing them peace and comfort during this unthinkably tragic time.

Reading about Elisabeth and the life she lived is truly inspiring. She definitely did not take life for granted. We only met a few times but I remember her always with a smile on her face.
Those we love don’t go away. They walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near. Still loved, still missed, and forever dear.
Wishing you all peace and love.

I was so sad to hear of Elisabeth’s passing from Katie Egner (Verlenich). I cannot believe we just saw her at the Pancake festival after it being since I was a kid and she babysat me! We even joked it’d be another few decades before we saw each other again. Reading this tribute to her was just so thoughtful and insightful into her life. I loved all that she shared about her, sometimes they are just so vague and cold. This was not. I am so sorry for this huge loss to the family. You all will be in my heart and prayers, and sending you healing energy as you move forward in this life without her physically by your side. HUGS!!

I recall fond memories when I first met her in India on the occasion of Chinni and Steve marriage. A true loving and affectionate personality and great inspiration for others. A huge irreparable loss for our entire family. I pray for her beautiful soul to rest in peace.
