Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the passing of Jim. If some small measure of comfort can be found in this moment of sorrow find in the knowledge that the Lord holds him in the palm of his hand in eternal peace and happiness. Always cherish and forever hold dear the warmest of memories of a man who made his family and so many others happy. I hold him in my prayers today.
God rest his soul. Requiescat in Pace

Condolences for James Joseph Barrett
Jim started working with the IRS in the Trenton office the year before I did. We worked together for a few years then Jim stayed in the audit area & I went into management. Although we didn't see each other often, I always considered him a friend & think he felt the same about me. I'm very sorry about his passing. He was much to young & I know he'll be missed by many.
I worked with Jim for many years at the IRS and always enjoyed our conversations about many things - including life in general. He was a well-respected gentleman and professional. Although we lost contact after he retired, I consider him a friend and I am very sad to hear this news. May he rest in peace.
We were saddened to hear of the loss of our friend Jim Barrett. We met through our sons, who are very good friends. Whether it was at Boy Scout events or at church or just around the neighborhood Jim’s warmth and keen sense of humor were always a welcome breath of fresh air. Will never forget the time he drove our car up to Maine to rescue Brendan, Bill and company. Rest in peace James. You were a good man.
