Matthew A. McKinney

Matthew A. McKinney, of Warminster, died peacefully on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at the Rose Garden at Ann’s Choice. He was 86 years old.

Matthew was the beloved husband of 22 years to Joan R. Hermann Richmond McKinney and the late Ann O’Brien McKinney.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Matthew and Florence Wombold McKinney and father of the late Kathleen Menzak.

Matt was a resident of Bucks County for many years. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He retired in 1993 after a successful career in chemical sales with Pennwalt Corporation.

Matt loved being with family and friends, especially playing cards and was a fearless Hearts player. He always had a book close by that he was reading and looked forward to his quiet time painting in oils. He will be sadly missed by his devoted family and friends.

In addition to his wife, Matt will be missed by his children, Michael McKinney and his wife Debbie, and Patricia McKinney and her husband Daniel Perkins. He is also survived by his son-in-law, Brian Menzak; his 5 grandchildren, Mary Ann Hillig (Jesse), Daniel DiGiovanni, Megan Menzak, Katherine Perkins (Winslow Smith), Julia Perkins (Zachary Arbitman) and 2 great grandchildren Lily Huscher and Daniel Smith, his sisters, Florence Pearson and Claire Ryan, his 3 step children, Kim Williams (John), Bill Richmond (Patty) and Thomas Richmond (Julie) and 1 step great grand child.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Friday August 10, from 9:30 am until his Funeral Mass, 10:30am at Nativity of Our Lord Church, 605 W. Street Rd. in Warminster, PA 18974. Military Honors to follow. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his name may be made to Ann’s Choice Benevolent Care Fund 20,000 Ann’s Choice Way, Warminster, PA 18974.
