Siegfried Pohle

Siegfried K. Pohle of Ivyland died peacefully on Sunday April 21, 2024 at his home with his family by his side,

Born in Germany, Siegfried , know to family and friends as “ Siggy” was the beloved husband of Meta Straub Pohle for the past 65 years, son of the late  Anna Hutter Pohle and devoted father of the late Reiner K. Pohle.

Siegfried was a resident of Ivyland for the past 38 years. He was the founder and president of Pohle Masonry Construction Co. for past 42 years. Pohle Masonry was well established in the Tri State Area, known for its quality work. No job was too small or too big. They built homes as well as Industrial buildings. 

Siggy was an avid hunter and sportsman who loved the outdoors. He was a life member of the NRA. He looked forward to being at home with family and friends and showing off his over 500-gallon salt-water aquarium and knowing all the beautiful species he had in his aquarium. He also liked to dabble with old cars.

He will be missed for his firm handshake and warm and friendly smile.

In addition to his beloved wife Meta, he is survived his son Uwe Pohle and his wife Catherine, his daughter-in-law Stephanie Pohle. He is also survived by 6 loving  grandchildren; Karl Pohle, Kris Pohle, Anna Pohle and her fiancé Mike, Ashley Pohle, Megan Pohle and her fiancé Dave and Kyle Pohle, and his 2  great grandchildren Payton and Austin Pohle.  He also has 3 sisters living in Germany, Sabine Kempf, Regina Bartl and Karin Schaedel.

Siggy’s family will receive relatives and friends on Friday April 26 from 2:00 pm until a time of Sharing at 4:30 pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro.  His interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Chandler Hall Hospice, 99 Barclay St. Newtown, PA. 18940
