Albert M. Pirolli

Albert M. Pirolli of Richboro passed away peacefully on January 20, 2018 with his devoted family by his side at Twining Village Healthcare.  He was 86.

Al was the loving and devoted husband of 63 years to Julia C. De Santo Pirolli.

Born in Philadelphia he was a son of the late Albert J. and Anna Cattolico Pirolli and brother of the late Rev. Daniel Pirolli.

Al graduated from North Catholic High School, class of 1949.  While there he played football, and possessed a love of the sport which continued his entire life.  He spent 6 years serving proudly with the United States Marine Corps and was a 20 year veteran of the Philadelphia Police Department, retiring in 1976.  He followed that with a five year career as a private investigator and was former Police Chief of Warwick Township.

Al wore countless hats and was known to be an all around handy man.  He also coached football from 1966-1996 for several area High Schools  including,  Archbishop Ryan, Cardinal Dougherty, St. Joe’s Prep and Cheltenham High School  and Germantown Academy.  He was steadfastly devoted to his family and was never happier than when he was spending time with them.  He will be dearly missed.

In addition to his wife, Al leaves behind his children, Albert J. Pirolli and his wife Barbara, Anna Marie Clark and her husband Bill, Daniel Pirolli and his wife Colleen, Bernadette Overbeck and her husband Richard, and Francine Mangin and her husband Dennis.  He is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Friday January 26, 2018  from 10:30am  until his Funeral Mass 12:30pm  at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Rd., Holland, PA 18966.  His interment with Military Honors will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.
