Rick Collins

Rick Collins of Willow Grove died following a long illness on Friday, February 5, 2021 at Jefferson University Hospital surrounded by the love of his family.  He was 57.

Rick was the loving husband of Susan Little Collins and together they shared over 30 years of love, marriage, and life’s adventures.

Born in Doylestown, he was the son of Richard A. Collins of Surfside, SC and the late Nanci Roberts Collins.

Rick grew up in Penns Park and graduated from Council Rock High School. He began his career as a truck driver, following in his father's footsteps. Eventually he started his own business with his wife, R&R Lawn Care.

Rick believed in family first and foremost and he and Susan truly nurtured one of the closest families many have ever known.  Not only did they enjoy countless family vacations to Myrtle Beach SC, Ocean City MD and on occasion Cape Cod MA, they all shared a love for Stock Car racing. Rick's passion for the sport has turned into their family legacy

Most of all, Rick will be remembered for his selflessness and generosity which were truly without measure.  You could rely on Rick for anything and he would never turn down an opportunity to help someone who needed it.  His kindness of heart will never be forgotten by the countless many whose lives he touched. He will be dearly missed.

In addition to his wife and his father, Rick leaves behind his children, Michael Collins and his wife, Jeanette, Brandi Badulak and her husband, Dennis, Nanci Collins, Jessica Hess, Nicole Collins, Richard Collins, and Theresa Collins; his grandchildren, Landon & Xander Collins and Avery & Cameron Badulek; and his sisters, Chris Ribbe and her husband, Mike and Cathy Siedlecki and her fiancé, Alan. He was predeceased by his sister Cindy Ladd.

Rick’s Memorial Service will be held privately and available via live stream below the text of this obituary on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 1:00 PM.  Following the service, Relatives and friends are invited to an in-person visitation from 2:00-4:00 PM at the Joseph A.
