Joseph C. Singer

Joseph C. Singer, a longtime resident of Warminster, died peacefully and surrounded by the love of his family on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at home.  He was 86.

Joe was the loving husband of Sheila O’Neill Singer and together they shared over 63 years of love, family, and life’s adventures.

Born in Philadelphia he was the son of the late Matthew and Catherine Gebhardt Singer and was also preceded in death by his twin brother, Matthew Singer, his sister Evelyn Atras, and baby brother, Frank Singer.

Joe was a graduated of North Catholic High School and served proudly with the United States Navy before beginning his long career with Sears-Roebuck where he retired after 40 years with the company.  He and his twin brother were inseparable even having served on the same ship in the Navy together and spending the careers with Sears Roebuck.

Aside from his work, Joe enjoyed traveling with his family and visited countless destinations across the United States and around the world over the years.  He took great pride in caring for his home and also enjoyed the simple things in life like catching an Eagles game or finding a bargain at the food store.  He had an infectious sense of humor and often brought smiles to his family and friends.

Joe will be missed for his genuine nature and quiet simplicity and will be forever remembered by those who loved him.

In addition to his wife, Joe leaves behind his children Chris Singer and his wife, Kathleen of Hatboro, Elizabeth Singer and her partner, Jim, of Stratham, NH, Joe Singer and his wife, Holly, of Durham, NC, and Phillip Singer and his wife, Patricia, of New Britain, PA.  Also surviving are his grandchildren, Lauren, Alex, and Andrew Singer and his wife, Amelia; Emma and Milo Singer; and Ava and Pearl Singer; and his great-grandchildren, Francesca and Ryder.
