David Stephen Handler

David Stephen Handler died Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at his home in Holland, PA. He was 74 years old.

David was the beloved husband of Cristine Alyce Lloyd Handler. The couple met at a club for tall people and had been married for the past 33 years. They had a joyous marriage filled with laughter, friends, and good memories.

David worked in the media and communications industry and enjoyed living in different cities on the east coast. He found himself in Manhattan, Boston and Washington, DC and in the capacity of Director of Sports, traveled cross country representing the Dodgers. After his marriage to Cristine, David joined Salem Broadcasting and worked in Christian Radio for WNTP and WFIL.

David enjoyed woodworking, eating good food, and working with Cristine to restore their dream home-an old stone farmhouse. He found a connection with Jesus and was saved while in the Navy. He was an active member of the Calvary Chapel Men’s Ministry and loved his two “furry children”, his cats Cuddles and Maddie.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet David's family from 10:00am, until the start of his Funeral Service, 11:00am at Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia, 13500 Philmont Avenue in Philadelphia, PA 19116. David's interment will take place privately, at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517 in Topeka, KS 66675.
