Thomas B. Parrish of Newtown, passed away peacefully on Friday May 27, 2022 at Chandler Hall, Newtown, surrounded by his loving family. He was 73 years old.
Born in Pittsburgh, PA the second of six children to the late Brendan T. and Madelyn Fitzmaurice Parrish.
Tom attended St. Anselm High School in Swissvale, PA. He proudly served his Country as a Sergeant in the United States Army in Vietnam, after serving tour of duty he returned to graduate from Robert Morris University. Tom’s professional career spanned many years, working in sales, marketing and management roles for Johnson & Johnson, Bristol Myers Squibb and West Pharmaceuticals Services throughout the United States and Canada.
Tom enjoyed spending time in Naples, FL playing golf and enjoying the beautiful beaches and the sunshine. He was also an avid reader. His most treasured times were when he was spending time and attending events with family and good friends,
In addition to his wife Marcia (Tsorvas) Parrish, Tom is survived by his children; Shannon M. Andersen (Greg), Allison L. Parrish, and Ryan T. Parrish (Casey): siblings Maureen Wach, Anne Marie Johnston (David), Michael Parrish (Jan), Danny Parrish, and the late Trish Venturella; grandchildren Dylan, Lily & Ella Andersen and Jack, Henry, Clare & Ellie Parrish; in-laws Katherine Cavill (Bill) and Jim Tsorvas (Paulette). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and their families.
Relatives and friends are invited to join Tom’s family at his viewing on Wednesday evening June 15, 2022 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd (at Holland Rd), Richboro, PA 18954, and also on Thursday morning June 16, at St. Andrew Catholic Church 81 Swamp Rd. Newtown, PA 18940 from 10:30am until his Funeral Mass at 11:30 am. Interment will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.
