Stephen P. Prusienski Jr.

On June 3, 2022, Stephen Paul Prusienski Jr. passed away. Stephen was born in September 1954 to his loving parents Stephen Sr. and Sophie (nee Pasterchik), whom preceded him in death. Stephen grew up in the Germantown area with his sister, Nancy(John), and brother, Ray(Arleen), instilled with a strong work ethic and an understanding of the value of a dollar, as children of immigrants that survived the depression era often are.

After graduating from George Washington High School, he put himself through LaSalle University in the evening, while working during the day for his undergraduate and graduate education.  While on campus studying, fate introduced him to a nursing student, LouAnn, whom he blissfully married on October 10, 1981.  In addition to 40 beautiful years of marriage, he was gifted three boys, Stephen Paul III (Megan), Michael (Jenna), and Matthew; who they brought up as active members of the local parish and Boy Scout troop.  He served Scouting from the time his oldest joined, in positions ranging from Cubmaster, to Commissioner, to Treasurer of Washington Crossing Council and was actively committed to the advancement of the Scouting movement and principles. In his spare time, he enjoyed a challenging puzzle, collecting hats and model ships, listening to Bill Joel, and a good glass of red wine while dining with his family.  He was a proud grandfather and happily enjoyed the role of Pop Pop to Eleanor Grace, Mason Enrico, and Stephen Paul IV.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family Tuesday, June 7, 2022 from 10:00 until 10:45 AM, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Roman Catholic Church, 611 Knowles Avenue, Southampton, PA, with the Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00am. Interment will be private.
