Mary Ann Leszczynski (Brach)

Mary Ann (Brach) Leszczynski, passed peacefully on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at her home in Holland. She was 86 years old.

Mary Ann was the beloved wife of the late Marion “Les” Leszczynski who died in 2018. She is preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Brach and his wife, Cynthia.  She is joined in death by her brother John “Jack” Brach, who died one day after she did.

The daughter of the late John and Mary (Soczynski) Brach, she lived in Bridesburg as a child and young adult. She attended St. John Cantius School and graduated from Little Flower Catholic High School in 1954. Mary Ann lived in Holland, PA for most of her adult life, where she worked as a bus driver for the Council Rock School District for almost 30 years.

She enjoyed family vacations, especially her trips to Maine, Virginia, California and the Grand Canyon. Holidays were very important to her, and she embraced her Polish heritage by preparing Vigilia, the traditional Polish Christmas Eve dinner every year. She also continued her parents’ tradition of making homemade kielbasa, a family favorite, for holidays and family events.

Mary Ann will be greatly missed by her children, Mark Leszczynski and wife, Lisa; Laura Riggs and husband, James and Carolyn Randolph and husband, Scott; her grandchildren, Suzanne Leszczynski, Emily Riggs, Mary Pat Riggs, Alexander Randolph and Jason Randolph. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Constance and Robert Wrzesniewski, her sisters-in-law, Dolores Brach and Phyllis Koc and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet Mary Ann’s family on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 from 10:30am, until the start of her Funeral Mass, 11:30am, at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Road, Holland, PA 18966. Her interment take place at 1:30pm in the Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, PA.
