Liberta D. Pursell (Pellegrini)

Liberta Delores Pursell “Bert”, 91, of Warrington, PA., died with her family at her side, on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Neshaminy Manor, Warrington, PA.

Liberta was born September 6, 1930 in Italy to parents Dominick and Mary Pellegrini.

Liberta was a graduate of Pennsbury High School; she worked in retail sales for many years. She had magical hands, loved to sew and do crocheting, and was known for her beautiful Afghans that she designed and shared with family and friends. She also had a famous green thumb and loved gardening.

Liberta is survived by her son, Thomas Joseph Pursell, Jr. and his wife Jennifer; and three grandchildren, Tyler and Leah Pursell, and Jessica Popp. She is also survived by her sisters Anne Helm of Michigan and Toni Pursell of Tennessee and sister-in-law, Rosalynn Pellegrini of New Jersey and several nieces and nephews.

Liberta was predeceased by her devoted husband Thomas Joseph Pursell, Sr., who died in September of 2010, her son William Pursell who died in December of 2021, her brothers Frank and James Pellegrini, and her sisters Nicolina DeFrancisco, and Stella Simeone.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family Friday, July 1, 2022 from 9:30 a.m. until her funeral service at 10:30 a.m. at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.), Richboro, with interment to follow at Forest Hills Cemetery, Huntingdon Valley, PA.

Contributions in Liberta’s name may be made to the Bucks County Association for the Blind, 400 Freedom Drive, Newtown, PA 18940 or the American Heart Association, 625 W. Ridge Pike Bldg. A. Suite 100 , Conshohocken, PA 19428.
