Theresa "Terri" M. Johnson

Theresa M. "Terri" Johnson, of Chalfont, PA died on Friday, June 24, 2022, at Jefferson Hospital. She was 54.

She was the beloved wife of 24 years to David R. Johnson.

Born in Lynn, MA, she was the daughter of John Carragher of Chester Springs and the late Brenda Spain Carragher.

Terri was a devoted wife and mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend. She touched everyone’s lives with her energy, love and compassion. She will be most remembered for being there for everyone - in good times, and especially in bad times.

The joy of Terri’s life was her time as a wife and mother. Terri loved every day of motherhood and Joe and Sarah were the center of her life. As a mom, Terri was full of laughter, fun, joy, love and kindness. From day one, she knew her kids inside and out and gave all of herself to help and support their growth into the great people they have become.

Terri’s other joy was spending time with her family and friends. Terri loved to stay connected with her extended family and friends and loved to spend time visiting them, whether they lived down the street or lived across the country (or world).

In every role she played, Terri was truly focused on helping others. Terri felt the pain of anyone going through a difficult time and was the first person to make a call or visit anyone in need. In her final days at the hospital, Terri would introduce Dave to different members of her nursing and physician staff, knowing most everything about their lives and wishing them well with whatever challenges they were facing. She had a deep faith in God and spent her entire life dedicated to giving to others.

Terri lived a big life full of love and laughter. She had a contagious amount of positive energy and touched others wherever she went. We desperately wish we had more time with her and are eternally thankful and blessed for the time we had.

In addition to her devoted husband, Terri is survived by her loving children, Joseph Patrick Johnson of York, PA and Sarah Kathleen Johnson of Chalfont, her two brothers; Michael Carragher and his wife Toni Carragher and their three sons; Louis, John and Andrew, all of St. Augustine, FL and David Carragher of Phoenixville, PA.

Her family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, July 2, 2022 from 10:00am until her funeral Mass, 12:00pm at St. Jude Church, 321 West Butler Ave., Chalfont, PA 18914.  Her interment in Doylestown Cemetery, Doylestown will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Kind Like Joey, www.kindlikejoey.org
