Salvatore Nicholas Diana

Salvatore Nicholas Diana, of Chalfont, PA died on Friday, June 24, 2022, at New Seasons Assisted Living.  He was 90.

He was the beloved husband of 69 years to Louise Iacontini Diana of Chalfont.

Born in Bronx, NY, he was the son of the late Louis Diana and Nancy Borgese Diana and father of the late Nancy Fitch.

Salvatore was enlisted in the United States Army as a Staff Sergeant during the Korean War. He owned his own business repairing electronic organs for 25 years. He enjoyed playing the organ, and could often be heard at family, and friend gatherings. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

He is survived by his two sons; Louis Robert Diana and his wife Linda of Fountainville, PA and Michael Angelo Diana and his wife Anna Rosa of Huntington, NY, and son in law James Fitch of Bradenton Florida.  He is also survived by his seven grandchildren; Jay and Fernanda Fitch, Brian and Bonnie Fitch, Amy and Akindele Akinhanmi, Alex and Kristina Fitch, Nicholas and Carolyn Diana, Jillian Diana and Timothy Diana, and his eight great-grandchildren; Owen, Samuel, Olivia, Benjamin, Joni, Selah, Chloe, and Sophia.  In addition to his daughter, Nancy, he was also predeceased by his brother Emmanuel Diana, and is four sisters; Mary Costigan, Joanne Diadone, Josephine Giordano, and Theresa Diana.

His family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 from 11:00am until his Funeral Service, 12:00pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Ave., (at Sandy Ridge Rd.) New Britain, PA 18901.  His interment with military honors will follow at 2:00PM at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
