Joyce Susan Bursner (Pszalgowski)

Joyce Susan Bursner died Sunday, June 26, 2022 at her home in Richboro, surrounded by her family. She was 76 years old.

Joyce was the loving wife of William L. Bursner. The couple shared almost 55 years of marriage.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, Joyce was the daughter of the late Alexander and Irene Gojlewicz Pszalgowski.

Joyce was a loving wife and a caring mother. Nothing was more important to her than her family. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with them. She was also very good-natured about being designated by her family as the world’s slowest eater. She will be remembered as a kind person. She also had a soft spot for animals.

In addition to her husband, William, she is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Anne Bursner, and her son, William Adam Bursner. She will also be missed by her brother, Ronald Pszalgowski, and his wife, Linda.

Funeral services and interment will take place privately.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pennsylvania SPCA at 350 East Erie Avenue in Philadelphia, PA 19134.
