Roland J. Christy III

Roland J. Christy III, of Chalfont, PA died in a tragic car accident on Wednesday, July 6, 2022. He was 52.

He was the beloved husband of almost 23 years to Monique H. Christy and the devoted, loving father of their three children, Roland IV, Douglas, and Emily.

Roland was a 1988 graduate of Abington Friends School; he went on to earn a B.A. from Albright University in 1992. He enjoyed a successful career in Information Technology, most recently as Vice President of Infrastructure for NewRez. He was a dedicated father who enjoyed spending time outdoors with his family and loved assisting with his kids’ sports and activities. He was a wonderful friend and neighbor and was always quick to lend a helping hand and could fix practically anything. Roland was a caring and selfless son who admired and supported his parents throughout his life. He cherished his friendship with his brother who was his best friend and was happiest when he could spend time at home with his family around him.

In addition to his loving wife and children, Roland is also survived by his parents Roland J. Christy Jr. and Jo Ann Christy of Buckingham, his brother William E. Christy and sister-in-law Alina of Buckingham.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service on Friday, July 15, 2022 at 11:00 am in the Lenape Valley Church, 321 W Butler Ave, New Britain, PA 18901, where the family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall. His interment will be held privately.

Roland always wore baseball caps anywhere he could get away with it.  Please feel free to wear a baseball cap of any kind, to the memorial services on Friday, in honor of Roland.
