Noreen K. Petrone (Monaghan)

Noreen K. Petrone, 83 of Holland PA passed away peacefully on July 27, 2022 at Neshaminy Manor Nursing Home in Doylestown PA. 

She was the beloved wife of 63 years to Joseph L Petrone Sr. 

She was born October 28, 1938 in Philadelphia PA, the daughter of the late Thomas and Florence (Lally) Monaghan.

Noreen attended St Boniface school and Commercial Business School in Philadelphia PA. She worked at Catholic Charities and Mack Trucks where she met her future husband Joseph.

Noreen enjoyed creating stained glass ornaments, contributing to charitable events with her friends at the Ancient Order of Hibernians #39, where she was an active and loyal member.  She enjoyed reading and attending plays in Philadelphia with her friends.   Above all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Noreen is survived by her loving husband Joseph L Petrone, her sons, Joseph L Petrone Jr (Kathleen ) of Blue Bell PA, Paul Petrone of Doylestown PA, Michael Petrone ( Kellyann ) of Holland PA. Her grandchildren; Joseph, Kathleen, Madelyn, Allison (Joseph ) Wojtkielewicz, Mary Kate, Jessica, Emily, Sarah.  Great-grandchildren; Croia Joan Wojtkielewicz and Hayden Joseph Wojtkielewicz.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Friday, August 19, 2022 from 9:00 am until her prayer service at 10:30 am at Joseph A Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown Richboro Rd, (at Holland Rd.) Richboro PA 18954.  Her interment will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, will be held privately for the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the ALS Association https://www.als.org/donate
