Michael J. Ballmann

Michael John Ballmann, 41, passed away suddenly on August 8, 2022.  He was the loving son of Dieter and Lotte Ballmann and the adored husband of Jaime (née Pillinger).

Mike grew up in Churchville, PA and had a wonderful childhood with his sister Christine, neighbors, and friends. He spent time with family in Germany and traveled to many places in Europe, developing a love for travel and culture. He went to Nativity of Our Lord and Archbishop Wood High School (‘99) alongside his future brother-in-law Frank. He graduated from Penn State with a degree in Criminal Justice. He served in the United States Army as a military police officer before his career at Vertical Screen in Warminster, PA.

Mike loved learning, especially history. He was an ace at Jeopardy. He loved drawing, reading, gardening, long bike rides, good food, walking trails, the beach, wrestling, genealogy, and finding new things and places to explore.

He was a kind and thoughtful person, and had a gift for always making people feel heard and valued. Mike made meaningful connections because he was genuinely interested in others. He loved animals of all kinds and always made sure the squirrels and birds were well fed.  His happiest days were spent with those he loved. He gave us a too-short lifetime of cherished memories.

Mike is survived by his wife, Jaime; his parents, Dieter and Liselotte Ballmann, his sister Christine Bukowski (Joe); his in-laws, John and Deborah Pillinger; his brother-in-law, Frank Pillinger (Mandy); his sister-in-law, Jaclyn Diehl (Mark); his nephews, Johnny and Lucas; and his two cats, Bitsy and Biscuit.  He is predeceased by his beloved grandparents, John and Elisabeth Ballmann and Johann and Elisabeth Doron. Rest In peace, Mike. Thank you for the love you gave us.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet his wife and family on Saturday, August 20th at 10:30 am at Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954.  A Prayer Service will immediately follow at 11:30 am.
