During his lifetime, Dr. Puglisi attended church regularly and had great devotion to the Blessed Mother and Saint Gianna. He found great comfort in his faith. Dr. Puglisi was an avid woodworker, crafting many pieces of beautiful furniture, for himself, children and grandchildren; enjoyed going to auctions with his wife; and spending time with his family and friends, especially at the holidays.
