Olga D. Delfini (Sochatska)

Olga D. Sochatska Delfini of Churchville, passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at University of Pennsylvania Hospital. She was 79. Olga was the loving companion to the late Joseph D. Delfini for 47 years.

Born in the Ukraine, Olga was the daughter of the late John and Maria Sudomlak Sochatska.

Olga immigrated to the US as a toddler, grew up in Philadelphia and graduated from St. Basil’s Academy, and later cosmetology school. She married Joseph in 1965, and they raised three sons in Philadelphia, and later Churchville. She was primarily a homemaker and a mom, and later working at The Wicker Store in Southampton. She enjoyed the simple things – her house, her family, friends, pets, her bowling league and shopping for bargains. Olga enjoyed decades of friendship with her lifelong sister from another mother, Pearl.

Olga never missed out on a chance to dance, especially when Elvis came on. Her love for Elvis was almost as strong as her love for her grandchildren. Olga was a loving Grandmother, “Bacha”, to seven grandchildren and one great granddaughter. You could often find Bacha and her grandchildren playing card games, dancing, watching game shows, and shopping at the dollar store. Olga also had a special bond with her beloved dog, Ginger - her cherished companion that did not leave her side for 14 years.

Olga is survived by her sons, John Delfini and his wife Tanya of Ottsville, Vince Delfini of North Wales, and Daniel Delfini and his wife Eileen of Furlong; sister-in-law, Dana Delfini of Glen Mills; grandchildren, Arianna Davidson and her husband Leo, Nicole, Sophia, Matthew, Natalia, Emily, and Ava Delfini; great-granddaughter, Zoey Davidson.

Olga’s family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 from 10:00am until her Funeral Mass at 11:00am at the St. Vincent de Paul Church, 654 Hatboro Road (at Tanyard Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954. Interment to follow at Lawnview Cemetery in Rockledge.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to UNICEF: Children in Crossfire of Ukraine Crisis
