Carol L. Aubin (Boland)

Carol L. Boland Aubin of Venice, FL and formerly of New Britain, PA passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022. She was 69. Carol was the loving wife of the late John F. Aubin for 35 years.

Born in Washington D.C., Carol was the daughter of the late James P. Boland Jr. and the late Marion E. Waluk Boland.

Carol received her bachelor’s degree in Education from James Madison University.

Carol loved children and being a mother. Carol dedicated many years to raising her son Gerald as a homemaker and taking care of children in various childcare positions. This passion is highlighted by her later career position as Guidance Secretary for Unami Middle School, where she helped countless children over many years.

Carol traveled extensively both domestically and internationally, experiencing the various different sights, cultures, and cuisines that were offered. Carol pursued a passion for the ocean and seashore through annual summer trips to the Outer Banks with friends and family.

Carol's hobbies included collecting and viewing films of all genres.  She developed a fondness for all releases by Disney, adding any releases available to her personal library.

Carol is survived by her beloved son Gerald and his spouse Ying Shi of Vienna, VA; her brother James Boland of Venice, FL; and many cousins.

Carol’s family will receive friends on Sunday, September 25, 2022 from 12:00 PM until her Memorial Service at 2:00 PM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 E. Butler Ave. (at Sandy Ridge Road), New Britain, PA 18901.
