Priscilla J. Ryba (Formolo)

Priscilla J. Ryba of Newtown died peacefully with her loving family by her side on Sunday October 30, 2022 at Pickering Manor. She was 98 years old.

Born in Nuremberg, PA on November 1, 1923, she was the beloved wife of the late Henry R. Ryba, daughter of the late Anselmo and Genoffa DeManicore Formolo. Priscilla was also pre-deceased by three sisters and four brothers.

She is survived by her two daughters, Rhea Edgil and her husband Lee and Diane Wagner and her husband Richard. She is also survived by her sister Genevieve Mumie and brother Neal Formolo. Also surviving are 5 dear grandchildren and their spouses; Dianna (Jay), Richard (Melissa), Theresa, Andrew (Maura), and Timothy (Amy), and 8 great grandchildren; Tamra, Wyatt, Hudson, Graham, Ella, Holly, Elias and Sydney.

She treasured time with her family and most especially her great grandchildren, who were the love of her life.  She will be dearly missed.

She was a Registered Nurse for many years having worked at St Agnes Hospital and Rolling Hills Hospital. A creative and active woman, she loved to clean, bake, make afghans and share lots of crafts with family and friends.

Priscilla enjoyed traveling with her husband Henry and spent many years wintering in Florida.

She resided at Pickering Manor for the last 4 ½ years. She spent her time with compassionate nurses and caring activities women who filled her days with crafts, music, parties, news and many kisses and hugs.

Priscilla was a devout catholic who loved her faith with a special devotion to Our Lady of the Rosary and Saint Anthony.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Wednesday November 9, 2022, at St. Andrew Catholic Church 81 Swamp Rd. Newtown, from 10:00am until her Funeral Mass at 11:00am.  Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Pickering Manor Home, 226 N. Lincoln Ave. Newtown, PA 18940.
