Gertrude DeGroot (Van der Veen)

Gertrude DeGroot of Doylestown and formerly of Rushland, PA, died peacefully at her home on Tuesday, November 1, 2022.  She was 94.

Born in the Netherlands, Gertrude was the beloved wife of the late Kenneth DeGroot and the daughter of the late Johannas and Janke Ladenius Van der Veen.

Gertrude has been a resident of Grundy Hall for the past 18 years.  She enjoyed working on puzzles, crocheting, sewing, cooking and baking, but she most cherished times spent with her family and friends.
