Ronald A. Lotrecchio

Ronald A. Lotrecchio of Warrington, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at the age of 71. He was the beloved husband of Jessica Stetser Lotrecchio for 43 years.

Ron was born in Newark, NJ, and was the son of the late Frank and June Lewis Lotrecchio.

Ron grew up in New Brunswick and enjoyed spending his summers at the beach in Seaside Heights. He moved to Toms River and, later, Warrington, PA in 2016.

He attended Lehigh University followed by the New Jersey Institute of Technology, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a master’s degree in Civil Engineering and Construction Management.

He began his career with the Ocean County Engineering Department in 1969 as a draftsman, eventually working his way up to become Ocean County Engineer in 2000. Throughout his 38-year career, he diligently served the people of Ocean County with an attention to detail and an eye for safety. While Ocean County Engineer, he led a team responsible for the improvement projects to 620 miles of roads, 210 bridges, and 230 traffic signals maintained by the county.

After retiring from the Ocean County Engineering Department, Ron began working for Stantec Engineering where he continued to work until his passing.

Outside of his career, he loved playing golf, going on trips, and his greatest joy—spending time with his grandchildren.

Ron was a supportive, generous, and loving husband, father, and Pop Pop. He ensured every opportunity for his family and will be deeply missed.

Along with his wife Jessie, Ron is survived by his sons, Doug Lotrecchio and his wife Heather of Furlong and Cody Lotrecchio of Warrington; grandchildren, Gavin, Addison, and Callen; sisters-in-law, Miriam Heater and Mary VanWickle and her husband Ken; nieces, Kendra Heater and Rachel Heater; and nephew, Ken VanWickle.

Ron’s family will receive friends on Sunday, November 13, 2022 from 5:00 – 7:00pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 E. Butler Ave. (at Sandy Ridge Rd.), New Britain, PA 18901, and again on Monday, November 14, 2022 from 10:00am until his funeral service at 11:00am at the funeral home. Interment at Whitemarsh Memorial Park will take place immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
