Joshua Charles Troiano

Joshua Charles Troiano died on Sunday, November 6, 2022. He was 19 years old.

Born in St. Joseph, MI, Josh was the beloved son of Corinne Fryman Troiano and stepfather, Anthony Abatto and Tony Troiano and stepmother, Jen Troiano. He is predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Frank Troiano and Carol Shaw.

Joshua was a recent graduate of Pennsbury High School and a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church.  Josh was known for his quick wit and wonderful sense of humor.  The family often referred to him as a young person with an “old soul.”  He participated in St. Andrew CYO track & field and basketball, and excelled at karate, becoming a demo team member.  His artistic talents included writing, playing violin & bass guitar, and sketchbook drawing.  He had a critical eye for outdoor photography, always looking for the perfect shot.  He was also blessed with a gift of woodworking, creating beautiful pieces in his classes at school.  Like most young people, he enjoyed playing a variety of video games, with online chess being a favorite.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are brother, Jacob and sister, Cecelia; his maternal grandparents, Maribeth and Chuck Fryman; his paternal step-grandmother, Carol Troiano; his uncles, Chad Fryman and Tom Troiano; his aunts, Trisha and Julie Troiano; and stepbrothers, John, Justin & Dominic Abatto and Connor, Braden & Alec Verhagen. He will be warmly remembered by several great aunts, great uncles, and cousins with whom he shared a special relationship.

Family and friends are invited to greet Josh’s family on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 81 Swamp Road in Newtown, PA 18940, from 10:30 am until the start of his Funeral Mass at 12:00 pm.  Josh’s interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Newtown, PA.
