Alger W. Edwards

Alger W. Edwards, 80, of Chalfont, passed away Monday, November 14, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Carolyn F. Edwards.

Born September 27, 1942 in Tacoma Park, MD, he was a son of the late Alger and Johanna (Andress) Edwards.

Al always lived life to the fullest; enjoying every day like it was his last.  Nothing was ever too much, or not enough, he was grateful for every blessing God gave him.  He loved God and was not shy about expressing that love.  His charm, passion for life, love of nature, made Al the wonderful man he was.  He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.

Along with his wife, Carolyn, Alger is survived by four children, Laurie Edwards-Parra (Edward) of Gathersburg, MD, Alan Edwards (Antonia Green-Edwards) of Ambler, Michael Casey (Jill) of Collegeville, and Francis Casey of Greenwood Village, CO; ten grandchildren, Madison, Jordan, Mackenzie, Alana, Amelia, Anthony, Colin, Devon, Aiden, and Brennan; a great-grandchild, Harper; and a sister, Jo Anne Griffin (Steve) of Orlando, FL.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family Monday, November 21, 2022 from 9:30 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 E. Butler Ave. (at Sandy Ridge Rd.), New Britain. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Philadelphia.
