Maureen M. McMahon (McGill)

Maureen McGill McMahon, of Chalfont, PA died on Thursday, December 29, 2022. She was 88.

She was the beloved wife of the late Chief Robert J. McMahon.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Hugh Patrick and Veronica Myers McGill.

Maureen grew up in the Olney section of Philadelphia, she attended Incarnation of Our Lord Catholic School (Inky), Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls and the Palmer School where she received a diploma for Stenography.

On January 5, 1967 Maureen married the love of her life Robert, they moved to Warminster, PA where they lived and raised their children. 

Maureen worked at Jamesway retail store for many years until they closed, Maureen decided to change her career path and worked for GMAC Mortgage for many years until she retired in 2003.

Maureen loved spending time with all of her children and especially her grandchildren.  Maureen would spend time babysitting, watching them at their sporting events, attend their grade school and high school events and enjoyed her many trips to the beach.  Maureen loved celebrating everything with her family especially birthdays and most specially her own. She loved talking on the phone with her friends and family and just hanging out with everyone to catch up on their life events.

Maureen was an amazing Mother, Grandmother and Friend, she was resilient, faithful and the kindest person to have been a part of this life. Maureen will be truly, deeply missed by her family and friends.  We take comfort knowing Maureen was greeted by the Lord.

She is survived by her four children Michael Miller and his wife Linda of Reno, NV, Stephen Miller of Chalfont, Brian Miller of Philadelphia, Barbara J. McMahon Prajzner and her husband Scott of Furlong, PA.  She is also survived by her eight grandchildren; Michael Miller and his wife Alison, Dean Miller, Lana Ennis and her husband Casey, Nichole Musial, Sarah Miller, Courtney Morrin and her husband Dan, Jessica Prajzner and Casey Prajzner and her four great-grandchildren, Hannah and Wren Miller, Michael and Kaylee Musial.

Her family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, January 5, 2023 in St. Jude Church, 321 W. Butler Ave. Chalfont, PA 18914 from 10:00am until her Funeral Mass at 11:00am. Her interment will follow in Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery, Doylestown, PA.
