Margaret T. Donnelly (Boland)

Margaret Theresa Donnelly (nee Boland), Peg to her family and friends, passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 29th, 2022, at the age of 94.

Peg was born in Philadelphia on May 1st, 1928. to Frederick and Catherine Boland.  She graduated from John Hallahan Catholic Girls High School in 1946 and served as the President of the Student Council.

On September 23rd, 1952, she married the love of her life, Thomas Anthony Donnelly who preceded her in death on March 1st, 1991.

Peg’s devout Catholic faith led her to become the school secretary at her parish (Assumption BVM) in Feasterville where she served for over 30 years until her retirement in 1997. She was greatly loved and fondly remembered by the faculty and many students who attended the school.

Peg is survived by her four sons and their families; Michael and Linda of Argyle TX, Tom and Cindi of Bucks County, Patrick and Kacie of York PA, and Brian of Aiea HI; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; her youngest sister, Catherine of Lancaster, PA; and many nephews and nieces. Peg was proceeded in death by five siblings, John, Alice, Mary, William, and James.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude towards the dedicated professionals at Neshaminy Manor Nursing Home in Warrington PA.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Friday, January 6, 2023 at Assumption BVM Catholic Church, 1900 Meadowbrook Rd. Feasterville, from 9:30 am to until her funeral mass at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Rd, Bensalem PA.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Peg’s honor to Assumption BVM Catholic Church.
