John J. O'Shea Jr.

John J. O'Shea Jr., of Chalfont, PA died on Friday, December 30, 2022, at his home with his family by his side. He was 68.

He was the beloved husband of 40 years to Patricia Lare O'Shea.

He was the son of the late John J. O'Shea Sr. and Dorothy Burke O'Shea.

He was born on March 16, 1954, in Philadelphia and was a graduate of Temple University. He retired as a Meat Manager of Acme Markets after 34 years and went on to start his own vending machine business which he ran for over a decade before fully retiring.

John enjoyed spending time with his family and his mind was never at ease unless he had a major household project to complete, whether it would be in his Chalfont home or his home in Garden City, SC.

In addition to his loving wife, Patti, John is survived by his two sons, Timothy O'Shea of Philadelphia and Matthew O'Shea of Chalfont. He is also survived by his two sisters, Maryann Stanton of North Wales and Carolyn Wolk of Philadelphia.

His family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 in St. Jude Church, 321 W. Butler Ave. Chalfont, PA 18914 from 10:00am until his Funeral Mass 11:00am. His interment will be held privately at a later time.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Prostate Cancer Foundation, 1250 Fourth Street, Santa Monica, CA 90401.
