Charlotte L. Coburn (Lukhard)

Charlotte L. Lukhard Coburn, of New Hope, PA, formerly of Hershey, PA died on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at Doylestown Hospital. She was 85.

She was the beloved wife of almost 50 years to the late Robert Coburn Sr.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Howard Lukhard and Minnie Zobel Lukhard and mother of the late Janice Riemenschneider and sister of the late Howard Lukhard.

Charlotte was loved by friends, neighbors and co-workers. Anyone who met Charlotte became immediate friends. She had a fulfilling career at PNC Bank as a customer service representative in Hershey. There she enjoyed the community outreach of her job, arranging trips and outings for seniors in the Hershey area.

But nothing gave her more joy than attending to her husband, “Big Bob”, and a never-ending passion to please the grandkids.

She is survived by her son Robert Coburn Jr. and his wife Denise of New Hope, PA and her dear grandchildren, Jennifer Riemenschneider, Jessica Riemenschneider, Alec Coburn, Julia Coburn and great grandson, Stone Riemenschneider.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Monday, January 16, 2023 from 11:00am until her Funeral Service 12:00 Noon in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954. Her Graveside Service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at the Fishburn United Methodist Church Cemetery, 1215 Fishburn Road, Hershey, PA 17033.
