Theodore "Ted" M. Strenk
Theodore M. “Ted” Strenk of Churchville died peacefully at Holland Village on Tuesday, February 28, 2023. He was 80.
Ted was the beloved husband of 60 years to Elizabeth “Betty” Trojan Strenk.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Theodore M and Amelia Ruszkowski Strenk.
Ted was an avid golfer walked the fairways and greens for years at his favorite course, Bensalem Country Club. Ted even recorded a hole in one on the eleventh hole! While Ted loved to golf, his greatest pride and joy was his family. Ted enjoyed quiet evenings at home with his wife after a hard day’s work. Ted was a devoted father and spent a lot of his time coaching his son’s soccer, basketball, and baseball teams. Ted also mastered the role of grandfather, “Pop Pop”. Nothing brought a smile to his face quite like the smile he had in the presence of his grandchildren.
In addition to his beloved wife Betty, Ted is survived by his loving and devoted sons David Strenk and his wife Celeste of Churchville and Jeffrey Strenk and his wife Dawn of Churchville. He is also survived by his sister Marlene Ierardi and her husband John and four loving grandchildren: Laura, Katarina, Tyler, and Ryan.
Ted’s family will receive friends on Saturday, March 11, 2023 from 10:00AM until a sharing of remembrances at 11:30AM in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954. His interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to either St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 or the Alzheimer’s Association, 399 Market Street, Suite 102 Philadelphia, PA 19106.
