Maryann Pierce (Washabaugh)

Maryann Pierce, 73, of Warminster, passed away Friday March 3, 2023.  She was the beloved wife of the late William F. Pierce.  Born July 7, 1949 in Philadelphia, she was the adopted daughter of the late Robert and Marie Washabaugh.

As a child, Maryann enjoyed long train rides with her father, and playing in the suburban parks of Philadelphia.  She met and befriended her lifelong friends who were with her until her final hours.  She enjoyed playing the drums and learning the piano.  She was a proud alumni of Little Flower Catholic High School.

Her career was spent as a devoted nurse anesthetist who cared lovingly for her patients for over 40 years.  She adored her colleagues whom she would become best of friends.  Maryann enjoyed reading, the pool and sun, and her Hallmark movies.

In the end, she enjoyed the conversation and smiles of her friends and family the most.  Her door was always open to meet and greet and make a new friend.

Maryann is survived by her two children, William Pierce (Heather) of Harleysville and Kelly Clifford (Rick) of Warminster, six grandchildren, Courtney, Landon, Cameron, Vanessa, Nicole, and Rocco; and a great grandchild Jack.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family Wednesday, March 15th 2023 from 10:30am until the funeral mass at 11:30am at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 654 Hatboro Rd., Richboro.  Interment will follow at Washington’s Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.
