Gregory A. Romero

Gregory A. Romero of Doylestown, PA died suddenly on Monday, March 6, 2023, at Jefferson Hospital Abington. He was 61.

Born in Philadelphia, Gregory was the son of David and Deanna Romero (nee Beltran).

Gregory was first and foremost a loving and caring family man. He was known to never miss a family function or event, at all of which he will now be sorely missed.

Greg was also known to have a large social circle. His genuine, outgoing demeanor earned him many friends and acquaintances throughout the years.

He enjoyed a long career as an auto mechanic and achieved Toyota's Master Certified Technician level which was inspired by his childhood hobby of building models with his brothers and tinkering with his toy cars.

Greg loved music from an early age, listening and dancing to The Monkees and Jackson 5 with his brothers and sister, to imitating the dance moves of John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever, to the many rock concerts he attended from James Taylor to The Rolling Stones.

Greg loved swimming for both fitness and leisure. He could often be found at the pool swimming his laps fervently. In the summer he would frequent the Wildwood NJ shores splashing in the surf, laughing, and playing with his family.

He will be missed by many and held dearly in the hearts of those who knew him.

In addition to his parents, Gregory is survived by his loving and devoted son Gregory Romero and his fiancée Lauren Martino of Newtown, his longtime devoted companion Kelly DaSilva Wills and his grandson Gregory James Romero. He is also survived by his brothers Tom Romero (Shelly), Robert Romero (Anita), and Matthew Romero (Joanne), his sister Donna Romero-Wheelan and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewings on Monday Evening, March 13, 2023, from 6:00 to 8:00PM and on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, from 10:00am until his Funeral Service 11:00am in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954. His interment will be private.
