Gerhard "Gerry" Alexander Swyschtch

Gerhard “Gerry” Alexander Swyschtch died peacefully on Friday, April 28, 2023, at his home in Fairless Hills. He was 75 years old. Gerry was a decorated Vietnam Veteran. Born in Munich, Germany, he was the son of the late Alexander and Theresa Schoenhoffer Swyschtch. Gerry will be missed tremendously by his long-time companion, Margie Petro and their dog Charlie Bananas. The couple shared 28 years of fun, friendship and love.

Gerry will also be missed by his Daughter Tereasa Swyschtch-Prieto married to Matthew, and his Son Alan Swyschtch married to Ellen. Gerry was loved by his 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren Richard, Elizabeth, Alexander, Kathryn, Kaitlyn, Alyssa, Maria, Brianna, Sophia, Logan, and Jackson. Gerry will rejoin his late son Michael Swyschtch who passed away in 2012.

Gerry’s hobbies were often solitary, including his passion for photography. However, he also loved to ride his motorcycle with friends along River Road, taking in the scenic views. In addition to his love for the open road, Gerry was a talented musician who enjoyed playing music and jamming out with friends and family.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet Gerry’s family on Thursday, May 11, 2023, from 5:00pm-7:00pm at the Joseph A Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Road) in Richboro, PA 18954.
