Joanne C Cacciatore (DeLisi)

Surrounded by loving family, Joanne C. Cacciatore, age 77, entered Eternal life on May 2, 2023. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. Joanne was born on December 8, 1945, to Anna and Joseph DeLisi in South Philadelphia. She is survived by her loving husband, Anthony J. Cacciatore, affectionately known as Tony, her children Michele Aungst and her husband Gerald Aungst, Anthony J. Cacciatore III, Christine Frey and her husband Jeffrey Frey, and her brother Peter DeLisi. Joanne was also a proud grandmother to Justin, Timothy, Daniel, Stephen, Anthony IV, Gianni, Alyssa, Joey, Carley, and Cassandra.

Joanne's family was her biggest joy in life, and she was devoted to her grandchildren. She loved attending and supporting all of their school functions, sporting events, and milestones in life. Nothing brought her more happiness than spending time with her family, and she cherished every moment with them. She will live on forever through their legacy.

Joanne spent her early years working as a phlebotomist before starting her family. After marrying Tony, they settled in Washington Crossing, Pennsylvania, where they raised their children. In her retirement years, Joanne spent her summers in Newtown, PA and winters in Florida, enjoying the warm weather and sunshine. She had a passion for scrapbooking, playing board games and cards (especially Mahjong), spending time with family and friends, and traveling the world with Tony. They visited many countries, including Spain, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Italy, and all across the United States.

Joanne was a devoted Catholic and an active member of St. Andrew’s Church in Newtown, Pennsylvania, and San Pedro Catholic Church in North Port, Florida. She cherished her faith and the abundance of friendships provided by the Church. Joanne loved attending bible study and participating in Church activities. One of her most prized trips was her pilgrimage to Jerusalem, Israel.

Joanne was known for her friendly and outgoing personality. She had a gift for making friends easily and could strike up a conversation with anyone. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Her memory will forever be cherished by her family and friends. May she rest in peace, knowing that she was deeply loved and will be missed dearly.
