Marie S. Herring (Guglielmi)

Marie S. (Guglielmi) Herring, of Newtown, PA passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of the late Albert Herring of 49 years.

Marie was born on September 8, 1927 in Camden, NJ to the late Dominick and Anna (DiGiacomo) Guglielmi.

Marie grew up to be a loving soul who touched the lives of many. She was a breast cancer survivor and held several different titles in her professional life. She was known as “Saint Marie” by her family for her caring nature and as the spunky lady with the red hair.

Marie is survived by her devoted children: Thomas Morelli and his wife Joanne of Langhorne, PA and Dominick Morelli and his wife Isabelle of Port St. Lucie, FL; 4 grandchildren, Amanda, Jenna, Anthony, and Yvonne; 5 great-grandchildren, Brian, Donny, Joshua, Morgan and Madison; her beloved great-granddog, Rowdy; as well as many extended family members. Marie is predeceased by her brother Michael Guglielmi.

Services and interment will be handled privately in the future by the family.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Marie’s memory can be made to Friends Village in Newtown, PA where she enjoyed the last year of her life making friends and memories. Donations can be made at https://www.friends-village.org/donate
