

Rodman Rodger Adair
Rodman Rodger Adair, of Holland PA, passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Chandler Hall Hospice surrounded by his loving family. He was 90.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, Rodman was the beloved son of Roger R. and Ida May Adair, and son-in-law of John and Stella Staudenmaier. He graduated from Northeast High School and Penn State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business. Rodman was a Systems Analyst, who became a pioneer in the implementation of microfilm, microfiche, and bar-coding at Eaton Yale & Towne, Honeywell and Whitman’s Chocolates. Rodman was a member of the National Microfilm Association, traveling throughout the United States, Canada and Brussels, Belgium for conferences.
Rodman served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was stationed in Seoul, Korea where he worked in the Quartermaster Corp from 1953-1955.
Rodman loved spending time with his family, celebrating all birthdays and holidays together. He enjoyed his home in Holland which he built with his father, father-in-law and an uncle. He also enjoyed vacations in North Wildwood, NJ. He was the proud founder of Boy Scout Troop 147 of Holland, PA, where he was troop leader for several years.
Along with his loving wife of 70 years Joan Doris Adair (Staudenmaier), Rodman is survived by his devoted children; Joan Bauman and (Robert) of Bensalem, Jill Rosenberger and (James) of Richboro and son, Scott Adair and (Donna) of Bensalem. He earned the title of “PopPop” after the birth of his first granddaughter; a name he was undeniably proud of. He is also survived by four loving grandchildren; Kelly Parisi, (Louis), Jamie Konopko, (Thomas), Kelsey Adair and Scott Adair (Fiancé Tina Tsakiris), along with great-grandchildren, Carson Parisi, Chloe Parisi and Jackson Konopko, arriving July, 2023.
Services will be held private to the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Rodman’s memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
