Joanna D. Tate (Macino)

Joanna D. Tate of Langhorne passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023.  She was 85.

Born in Vandergrift, PA she was the beloved wife of the late John M. Tate Sr. and the loving daughter of the late Victor and Mary Antonette Macino.

Joanna’s career was spent as a realtor selling homes in Newtown and Yardley for many years. She was a long term member of St Andrew Catholic Church where she enjoyed daily mass and volunteering with H.O.P.E. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She rarely missed a sporting, school or any special event.  She loved travelling to Siesta Key, Florida and Long Beach Island, N.J. creating wonderful memories with her family.

Joanna is survived by her loving children John “Mark” Tate Jr and his wife Kathleen of Langhorne, PA, Lisa DeBenedetto and her husband Joseph of Surf City, NJ, and Alan Tate and his wife Robin of Quakertown, PA.  She is also survived by her four grandchildren: Christopher, Daniel (Beth), Derek, and Vic and her three great grandchildren: Will, Jack, and Henry.  Joanna was awaiting the birth of her fourth great grandchild, Baby Boy Rodgers.

Joanna’s family will receive friends on Thursday, September 21, 2023 from 10:00am until her Funeral Mass 11:30AM in St. Andrew Catholic Church, 81 Swamp Road Newtown, PA 18940.  Her interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to St Andrew Catholic Church.
