Erigo E. DeMartinis

Erigo E. “Hank” DeMartinis of Ann’s Choice and Formerly of Trevose died peacefully on Tuesday, September 12, 2023. He was 92.

Born in Philadelphia, Hank was the beloved husband of 62 years to the late Josephine Antenucci DeMartinis and the son of the late Edward and Philomena Trofe DeMartinis.

Hank was a parishioner of St. Christopher Church in the Somerton section of Philadelphia, and a resident of Trevose for many years prior to moving to Ann’s Choice in Warminster. As a resident, he became a parishioner at Nativity of Our Lord Church.

Hank was an avid hunter in his younger life and was an expert marksman. He was passionate about his service to his country having served for over 30 years as both an active duty Master Sergeant in the U.S. Airforce and as a reservist. He was an expert mechanic maintaining aircraft that ultimately would protect our country, and could identify aircraft from the sound of their engines. He always enjoyed attending the Willow Grove Naval AFB Airshow. He also loved cars and always had a “project” going with his buddies. Hank also was a volunteer at the Veterans’s Home in Southhampton, PA, helping the sick and disabled. While at Ann’s Choice, he loved to shoot pool and play Pinochle with his friends. He always had a gift for gab.

Hank loved his Service and his Country, but his true passion was his family. He was a loving Father and faithful husband, and his highest priority was the safety and well being of his family

Hank was preceded in death by his loving wife Josephine and his loving daughter Patricia. Hank is survived by his loving children; Phyllis Briggs and her husband Robert of Warrington, Angela DeMartinis of Warminster, and Christe McGowan and her husband Jack of Bradenton, Florida. He is the dear grandfather of Keith Briggs and his wife Colleen, and Lauren Briggs. He is also Great Grandpop to Beckham and Parker Briggs. Beckham always enjoyed the choo-choos when he went to Ann’s Choice to visit.

Hank’s family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 from 10:00am until his Funeral Mass 11:00am in Nativity of Our Lord Church, 585 Street Road Warminster, PA 18974. His interment with Military Honors will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Guardians of the National Cemetery, PO Box 233 Newtown, PA 18940.
