Judith C. Newman (Cunniffe)

Judith C. Newman (Judy) formerly of Bordentown, NJ died peacefully on Sunday, January 14, 2023. She was 72.

Judy was the beloved wife of Ronald Norman and the late John Newman.

Born in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late John R. and Margaret F. Maguire Cunniffe. Judy worked for the State of New Jersey for many years in the Department of Higher Education advocating for people to obtain scholarships and grants until her retirement Judy was very proud to attend night school and earn her degree at Burlington County Community College. She was very proud of her Irish Heritage and loved listening to Celtic Music. Judy was an avid baker and needle point artist. She and Ron also enjoyed Civil War Reenactments traveling to Gettysburg Pa. on many occasions. Judy loved cultivating herbs for her kitchen and also to share with others. Judy was very generous and will be greatly missed but eternally loved and remembered by everyone who was a part of her life and loved by her.

In addition to her husband Ronald, Judith is survived by her sister Michaelle King of Crown Point, IN, her niece Allison Helm and children and her nephew David King. She is also survived by numerous cousins and very close friends.

Judy’s family will receive friends on Friday, January 26, 2024 from 10:00am until her Funeral Service 11:00am in the Joseph A. Fluehr Ill Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954. Her interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
