Stephanie A. Bohlender

Stephanie A. Bohlender of Southampton, PA died peacefully after a long battle with leukemia, on Monday January 15, 2024 at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was 40.

Born in Allentown, PA. Stephanie was the beloved wife of 5 years to Pablo DeLeon. She was the devoted daughter of Sandra Rypchuk Bohlender and the late G. Peter Bohlender who passed in June of 2023.

Stephanie graduated with her BSN from Widener University and after graduation, she moved to Pittsburgh, PA to pursue her career in nursing at Children’s Hospital at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, as a pediatric nurse.        

She remained there until she and her husband relocated to Batavia, Ohio. Where Stephanie pivoted her career and went to work for Duke Energy Corp., and work as an occupational health nurse, which she did for 2 years until her health would not allow her. She affected many people’s lives through her kindness, selflessness and profound thinking.

In addition to her husband and her Mother, many cousins, aunts, friends and extended family survive Stephanie.

Her husband and mother will receive condolences on Tuesday evening from 6:00pm until prayers at 7:30pm and again on Wednesday morning from 9:00am to 10:00am at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, followed by her Funeral Rite at 10:45 am at St. Mark’s Orthodox Church 452 Durham Rd. Wrightstown, PA. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Newtown.

Contributions in her memory may be made to St. Mark’s Orthodox Church at the above address.
