William Robert Petrashune

William Robert Petrashune died on Saturday, January 20, 2024, peacefully at home in Churchville, PA, with his family by his side. He was 100 years old.

Husband of the late Janet Shaw Petrashune, the couple had been married for 55 years at the time of Janet’s death in 2008.

Born in Lyon Mountain, NY, William was the son of the late Stanislauf and Sofia Ann Kviecin Petrashune. He was the father of the late Kimberly Hubley; and was predeceased by his nine siblings.

William was a proud Naval Veteran and served in WWII. At the end of his Naval career, he was stationed at Willow Grove where he met his wife and went on to raise his three children. After retirement, he moved to Delaware to enjoy the beach, fishing, horse shoes and cigars. This past summer he was so happy at his 100th birthday party, and to be surrounded by family, friends, love and laughter.

William will be missed by his sons and daughters-in-law, Terence and Pamela Petrashune and Christopher Petrashune and Jamie McKeehen; and his three grandchildren, Lisa, Lori and Sean.
