Evelyn Nancy Forster (Ariante)

Evelyn Nancy Forster (nee Ariante) of Yardley, PA and formerly of Warrington, PA died peacefully at Yardley Rehab on Thursday, January 25, 2024.  She was 91.

Born in Newark, NJ she was the youngest of ten children of the late Louis and Angelina Russo Ariante.

Evelyn was raised in Newark, NJ where she graduated from West Side High School in 1950.

In 1952 she married her childhood sweetheart and best friend Philip Forster and they had two children Ronald and Eric. They eventually moved to Willow Grove, PA in 1969. There she worked for ICC Corporation where she was a government patent typist.

Evelyn loved spending time with her family and preparing home cooked Italian meals.  Sunday afternoon meals were traditional and spent with her sisters, brother, nephews, and nieces.  As she grew older, she enjoyed her quiet time by reading or watching TV.

She is survived by two of her sisters, Susan, and Louise. Also survived by her two sons Ronald P. Forster and his wife Patricia Forster of Newark, DE and Eric P. Forster and his wife Karen Forster of Yardley, PA.

She had 7 grandchildren, Katie, Jamie, Rob, Drew, Jack, Randy, and Kevin. Evelyn was also blessed to have twelve great grandchildren.

Evelyn’s family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 from 10:00 am until her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM in St. Joseph Church, 1795 Columbia Avenue Warrington, PA 18976.  Her interment will follow at St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont.
