Ralph A. Ragan

Ralph A. Ragan, 74 years old of Holland, PA passed away on February 4, 2024. He was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Herbert and Mabel Ragan (Bargher).

Ralph is survived by his loving daughter, Jillian Higgins and her husband Kevin; sister, Nancy Maguire and her late husband “Tiger” Edward, nephew Scott Townsend and two loving grandchildren, Morgan and Brendan.

Ralph graduated from Plymouth Whitemarsh High School in 1967.

He served in the National Guard for several years before earning a Bachelor of Science degree from Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science in 1972.  Ralph was also a member of the Alumni board for seven years at the college.  Ralph was manager of the Real Estate branch for the Postal Service until he retired.  He also held both commercial and residential real estate licenses after retirement.

Ralph enjoyed serving on the Lower Southampton Veterans Advisory Council and helped mentor many students from his alma mater.

Ralph enjoyed going to the beach as a child in Ventnor, N.J. and later in Siesta Key, Florida.  Ralph also loved spending time with his family, especially his two grandchildren.  He will be missed by all who came to know him.

Friends and relatives are invited to visit on Saturday, February 10th from 10am-11am at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road, Richboro, PA. A celebration of life will follow. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made in Ralph’s name to HFOTUSA at Donate to Homes For Our Troops - Homes For Our Troops (hfotusa.org)  or the American Cancer Society at https://donate.cancer.org .
