Linda S. Collison
Linda S. Collison of Yardley, PA. Died peacefully on Saturday March 9, 2024 at her home with her devoted husband Frank by her side. She was 74.
Born in Philadelphia she was the beloved wife of Frank C. Collison, for the past 12 years, daughter of the late John Douris and Lorraine Douris Stripo.
Linda was a graduate of Cardinal Dougherty High School, class of 1967. She started her professional career with Winpak Portion Packaging Inc. Linda, worked very diligently, rose thru the ranks, and retired after 28 years as Manager of Sales Administration.
Linda was a woman with a love of music and dance; started early in her life doing Ballet, Tap and Toe dancing was lucky to have performed in front of the late Gene Kelly. Dancing brought Linda happiness, mainly line dancing or you name it. She grew up in the era of the Wagner Hall in Philadelphia, and at the Jersey shore, at Jerry Blavat Dances.
Linda, enjoyed summer times in the Wildwood area of South Jersey. She will be sadly missed for her gracious smile, warm heart and vibrant personality.
In addition to her husband Frank, her children, Joseph M. Miller Jr and his wife Michelle, Jamie J. Miller and his wife Mellissa, step- children, Frank C. Collison, Jr., Tara Anne Martz and her husband Michael, Kara E. Carr and her husband Jeff survive her. Sister of John L. Douris Jr, and his wife Cathy, Tammy Douris, and Karen Parenti. She is survived by her 3 grandchildren, Alex, Pierce and Chelsea Miller, 9 step grandchildren, Kevin, Stephen and Katie Collison, Eliza and Lily Carr and Madelyn Martz and great grandson Cole Allen Collison.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewings on Thursday evening March 14, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, and on Friday morning at St. Ignatius of Antioch Church 999 Reading Ave. Yardley from 10:00 am until her Funeral Mass 11:00.am.
Interment will follow at 2:30pm at Cold Springs Cemetery 780 Seashore Rd. Cape May, NJ,
