Pamela L. Thompson-Rutherford (Cypert)

Pamela L. Thompson-Rutherford, 58, of Doylestown, passed away March 11, 2024. She was the beloved wife of Anthony J. Rutherford.

Born January 7, 1966 in Tulsa, OK, she was a daughter of the late Charles E. and Leona June (Hurla)  Cypert.

Pam had a heart of gold, preserved from learning in her teenage years how to take care of everyone, especially those she loved. When she was 17, her mother Leona June Cypert passed away. Pam stepped up, learning how to cook recipes that were cherished for years to come. You could always expect a full plate of food and a genuine conversation from her.

Along with her husband, Tony, Pamela is survived by four children, Shannon Thompson, Kevin  Thompson (Chrystal Kreuter), Samuel Rutherford, and Mackenzie Wise (Jordan Wise); two grandchildren,  Cameron Apollo and Riker Thomas; and siblings, Edward Jr. and Phyllis, stepsister Sharla Skinner-Russell, and stepmother Charlene Pierce-Cypert, and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Keith, and stepbrother Bryan Skinner.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family Friday, March 22, 2024 from 5:00 pm until the  funeral service at 7:00 pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr Ill Funeral Home, 241 E. Butler Ave. (at Sandy Ridge  Rd.), New Britain. Interment will be held privately.

Contributions in Pamela's name can be made to Shriners Hospital for children. https://donate.lovetotherescue.org/give/119312/#!/donation/checkout?c_src=lttr-home.
