Anita L. Simcsak

Anita L. Simcsak, 87 years old of Newtown, PA passed away on March 20, 2024.

Anita who was born and raised in Trenton, NJ to the late Joseph and Mary Fillippo. Anita is now with her loving husband, Robert who she lost just 6 short months ago. Robert and Anita got married in 1960 and were married for 63 years. Anita loved to cook and was a cafeteria manager for many years which she enjoyed. She was a huge baseball fan ever since her son Robert played growing up and enjoyed watching the Philadelphia Phillies on television with her husband. She was an avid dog lover, specifically her mixed Terrier Wilson. Anita and Robert loved their community dog park in Middletown that they frequented often together.

Anita is predeceased by her husband Robert Simcsak, Sr, her brother Joseph Filippo, and her sister Josephine Suozzi.  She is survived by her loving son, Dr. Robert Simcsak, Jr., and wife Michele; grandson, Zachary Simcsak, her sister Rosemarie Giancarlo, her sister Renee McGuire, and her husband John, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to visit on Sunday, April 14th from 12pm-1pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road, Richboro, PA. A service will follow.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
