Lazar "Larry" Jeka

Lazar Jeka, 81, of Warminster, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2024. He was the beloved husband of the late Kathleen (Harbison) Jeka.

Born December 7, 1942 in Albania, he was a son of the late Lluka and Stefania Jeka.

Larry was born in Tirana, Albania; and grew up in Bologna, Italy. His Father was in the Italian Army and he had dual citizenship in Albania and Italy. After the War, Larry came to America at the age of 10, with his mother, father and older brother. Not knowing the language or customs of America, his family settled in Philadelphia. It was not an easy road, however, Larry went on to Graduate from Mastbaum High School, marry the love of his life Kathi, and have a successful career in Insurance sales!

After they married they moved to the suburbs and started a family. Larry was a proud father to his daughter, Melissa. Larry loved to help his family in any way he could, from helping with home renovations, to hosting pool parties in the summers, to having each and every holiday at their house for family and friends. His brother and sister in laws were like his brothers and sisters! He also enjoyed his role as Grandpop to his four grandsons.

After the loss of his beloved wife of 45 years, Larry found comfort in his girlfriend Sally. They enjoyed traveling and cruising the world together. He lived life to the fullest and will be greatly missed by many!

Survivors include a daughter, Melissa Williams (Tom); four grandchildren, Thomas, Jackson, Ryan, and Kyle; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Tim Jeka.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family Friday, March 29, 2024 from 10:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:00 AM at Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 E. Butler Ave. (at Sandy Ridge Rd.), New Britain. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.
