Charles Silversteen Service Information

It is with great sadness that the family of Charles A. Silversteen is announcing the passing of "Chuck" on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at the age of 74. Born in Philadelphia on August 17,1949; he was the son of the late Willard & Helen Silversteen. Chuck is survived by and will be lovingly remembered by: his wife of 50 years Joyce Silversteen (Orlando), his son Dr. Jason Silversteen, and daughter-in- law Ashley. Chuck will also be fondly remembered by his five grandchildren, Darien, Alana, Gabriel, Kaleb and Elizabeth. He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many friends. Chuck was predeceased by his daughter Nichole L. Silversteen, and brother Alan Silversteen.

A 1967 graduate of Cheltenham High School, Chuck continued his education at Penn State’s Abington Campus studying business. He had a long career in the toy retail business for many years and in 1980 Chuck joined SOS Metal Products and worked in the automotive parts sales department until his retirement in 2023.

Chuck loved watching his two children, Jason & Nichole on the sidelines of their soccer games or in the stands of many of their sporting events, as he never missed a game. Chucks most valued blessings were his children and grandchildren. He loved spending time with them, attending their activities, and sporting events. He was so very proud of his family, and all their many achievements. He especially loved watching and attending soccer games and could always be found watching a soccer match on television during the weekends.  He was also an avid lover and collector of vintage cars, along with many other interests.

Relatives and Friends are invited to greet Chuck’s family on Tuesday, April 30th, 2024 from 10:00am, until the start of his Prayer Service, 11:00 am, at the Joseph A Fluehr III Funeral Home, at 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. Richboro, (at Holland Road) PA 18954. Interment will follow, for family and close friends, at Resurrection Cemetery at 5201 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, PA 19020.
